Who is a good candidate for Tetralogy of Fallot repair?

Infants diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot who have progressive cyanosis or hypercyanotic spells are primary candidates. Contraindications include severe pulmonary artery hypoplasia that cannot be reconstructed, irreversible pulmonary hypertension, or active infections.
