Who is a good candidate for this procedure?

Ideal candidates include patients with unruptured or ruptured brain aneurysms that have a narrow neck, making them suitable for coiling. It is often preferred for aneurysms in locations difficult to access with open surgery. Contraindications include very wide-necked aneurysms, severe vascular tortuosity, or allergies to contrast dye.
