Shanghai Proton and Heavy Ion Center (SPHIC), opened 2014, is China's first and Asia's most advanced proton + heavy-ion radiation oncology center. Treats over 6,000 patients to date with both proton beam and carbon-ion therapy — particularly effective for chordoma, sarcoma, head-and-neck, prostate, lung, liver, and pediatric cancers. Operated jointly with Fudan Cancer Center, with international patient program in English.
